Donations will help our team attend critical events to continue these conversations.
Help us retrieve cigarette butts from the environment and prevent damage to land and marine ecosystems.
Donations will directly enable us to run community activations, such as the Big Butt Hunt.
Help us continue our research into end-of-life management of tobacco waste as we push for a ban

COMING SOON
In February 2023, Commonwealth, state and territory governments agreed to a set of nationally consistent fundraising principles to support ethical fundraising practice. It’s now up to state and territory governments to roll out these changes in each jurisdiction.
While the principles will give charities and donors a clear understanding of appropriate conduct, the state and territory governments will still have the ability to monitor and enforce compliance.
CURRENT LICENCES
New South Wales | Queensland | Tasmania | Victoria | Western Australia
We have written advice that it is not a requirement to have a separate fundraising licence for South Australia, as we are registered with ACNC. We have been advised it is not a requirement to have a separate licence for ACT or Northern Territory, unless we are holding raffles in those states.
As a charity, No More Butts relies on the generosity of strangers that believe in our cause.
When you donate, your contributions allow us to work towards achieving our mission of retrieving and reducing harmful cigarette butt damage to our environment.
In addition to business running costs, your donation goes towards funding events and the costs associated with researching methods to recover resources from cigarette butts.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible for Australian tax residents.
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional lands of Indigenous Peoples around the world. We honour them as the original and continuing stewards who have cared for these beautiful lands and waters since time immemorial, and we recognise their profound and enduring connection to culture and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and to all Indigenous Peoples. As an organisation, we are committed to learning from and supporting Indigenous communities in our work.
