With funding from Queensland Gives By Queensland Community Foundation, No More Butts will be delivering five Butt Hunts across North Queensland in the first half of 2024.
Kicking off with the Big Butt Hunt in Cairns on August 30th 2023, No More Butts will expand this fun event to other LGAs in Northern Queensland.
In recognition of our efforts, No More Butts Founder, Shannon Mead, received a certificate in Townsville in early September 2023.

No More Butts and Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign joined forces on December 3rd 2023 to deliver The Great Butt Hunt in Surfers Paradise and Rye Beach.

We can support with creation of assets, project management and facilitating the provision of required equipment through Clean Up Australia.
4,500 butts were collected in under an hour on three city streets on Setepmber 1st.
Volunteers bagged thousands of discarded cigarette butts, which will be ‘fed’ to mushrooms in an Australian trial.
